Adelaide Northern Districts Family History Group

Genealogy SA is web site for the South Australian Genealogy & Heraldry Society (Adelaide). It offers an Online Database Search of the following:
• Newspaper birth notices index from 1960 onwards
• Newspaper death notices index from 1972 onwards
• South Australia cemeteries index
• Birth registration certificates index 1842-1928 (year only with full access for members)
• Death registration certificates index 1842-1972 (year only with full access for members)
• Marriage registration certificates index 1842-1937 (year only with full access for members)
The Society offers lookup and transcription services for a fee and this includes births 1842-1928, deaths 1842-1967 and marriages 1842-1937.

Mount Horrocks Historial Society

The Mount Horrocks Historical Society is a local Society formed in 1983 to preserve, record and research the history of the area from Sevenhill to Leasingham (now including Auburn and Undalya) in South Australia. The Society has premises in Watervale which houses a library, local research facilities and a collection of old photographs and memorabilia.

This Association was was founded in 1935 and aims to: Perpetuate the memory of the pioneers of early settlement in South Australia; establish and maintain a faithful record of the pioneers for the benefit of present and future generations; encourage the preservation of records, portraits, relics and historical materials associated with pioneer settlement and promote awareness and knowledge of South Australian history.

The site has a list of Ships to South Australia 1836-1845 which records the name of the ship; departure port and date, arrival port and date, other information such as ship type and tonnage plus details of the number of passengers.

Clare Regional History Group

The Clare Regional History Group, formed in April 1984. has gathered an extensive range of material, covering the history of Clare and the surrounding villages, even out some distance to surrounding townships. By interacting with other history groups in places such as Burra and Blyth, it has been possible to establish not only a wonderful collection about the building of a town and its surroundings but also much about the people of various ethnic origins who came to live and contribute to the growth of a lively community spirit.
